Coming all the way from the Bronx was a big thing for most players in the camp. Originally set for Fordham University, Smith could have pulled out of the camp and said "Its too far and I only wanted to stay closer to home." Instead Smith who lists MJ as his favorite player and UNC as his favorite college, brought his "A" game.
On a team where he didn't see a lot of shots, Smith was extremely confident in his game and did what he was capable of doing. Not experimenting on nothing new.
